I don't think of myself as a birdwatcher, but clearly, I am. What catches my eye first? Brilliant color. Then size. Call. And then movement, activity, characteristics. This collection includes Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Glaucous and Ross Gulls, Barn and Violet Green Swallows, American Goldfinches, an American Robin, crows, House Wrens and female Anna's and Ruby Throated Hummingbirds seen on Whidbey Island, Wash. But there is also a swan in the River Shannon at Limerick, Ireland; a Jackdaw from Avebury, England and a pair of resident Jackdaws at Stonehenge, England; a Great Bustard from Stonehenge; Ringnecked Pheasants from Conicavel, Scotland; and European Robins from Bru Na Boinne, Ireland and Avebury, England.
